    Anna..Your batch members are having a real nice time sharing through those msgs.i have seen one of your msgs in those discussions..about the brahmin who goes to Himalayas and applies LEHYAM to his eyes...and the poem "Atajani kanche..." is from "Varudhinee Pravarakhyudu...if i am not wrong...It's good to share with my seniors too...Thanks and please be in touch with these 'thammullu' also...CHANDU..

    Am very much sure about..."Ata jani Kaanche bhoomisurudambarachumbi..." padyamu.It is from "Swarochisha Manu Sambhavamu"/Manu Charitham by Allasani Peddana...This padyam is mentioned at the context of Pravarakhyudu visiting the Himalayas.He would be seen by Varudhini there and she proposes him.Ultimately,he rejects her proposal and the story goes on...

    I read this lesson in my Telugu Literature paper for the Civils exam.
