APRS, Kodigenahalli was one of the first residential schools established for providing facilities to talented rural students selected from four Districts of Rayalaseema (Anantapur, Chittoor, Kadapa, Kurnool) and Nellore in Andhra Pradesh. This school has been in the forefront of academic excellence from the inception. The schools achievements in 10th std. statewide ranks, district sports, science fair and other activities have been well known and highly regarded all over the state. Situated on the banks of river Penna outskirts of Hindupur, APRS, Kodigenahalli provides an excellent environment for students to enrich their talents academically.
With the support of state government and dedicated staff, school provides boarding and education to deserving students. The school and students have been very lucky to have top quality and dedicated teachers to guide the students through out the year. Staff, school helps the students develop values, make better citizens and bring up the students in a healthy environment. There are numerous ex students working as IAS, IPS, Government Officers, Engineers and Doctors all over the world.
Realizing how school changed their lives, APRSK Alumni Foundation (APRSKAF) was established as a non-profit organization in United States and India in the year 2002. The alumni’s motto is “Give Back to School”. The purpose of the non-profit organization is to keep the ex students informed about the ongoing events in the school, provide extra support for the school, staff and students wherever necessary. We urge every ex students to become an alumni member to learn and support the effort.
