Hello all 87 kodis, this is 36 (not the Chamber of Shaolin), alias CHINNU. Since I joined '87 batch' today, thought I would start a discussion with a question:

 

త్రికము మీది అచ్చునకు ద్విత్వంబు బహుళంబుగానగు, ఆశ్చికంబగు ధీర్ఘంబునకు హ్రస్వంబగు

Can any one give clear explanation on what we mugged years ago?

I thought Bharadwaja will fill in, rather over flow. It did not happen. Honestly, I do not know the meaning of the above lines I mentioned but I remembered some of these things that I mugged years ago. I will try to get the answer for this. Keep your eyes open.

I came to know something on the net and thought I would share this with y'all.

ఒరేయ్ !! 6 అడిగితే 36 చెప్పడా ( దీని మీద చందుగాడి కవిత్వం ముందు ముందు చూద్దాం !!)
ఎమీ లేదురా ఒగిటే రోంపు గని. ఆ, ఈ, ఏ లు త్రికములనబడును కదా!!
ఉదా || ఆ + చోట = అచ్చోట . ఇది త్రిక సంధి. ఆ అనేది త్రికము మీది అచ్చు. ద్విత్వంబు బహులంబుగానగు అంటే చ కు ఒత్తు వచినదనమాట.
ఆశ్చికంబగు ధీర్ఘంబునకు హ్రస్వంబగు అంటే ఆ అక్షరానికి వుండే ధీర్గము కాస్త షార్ట్ అయిపోయిన్దనమాట.
